Event Follow-Up: "Man-Up for Life" Charity Water Polo Tournament--A Huge Success!

According to Greg Trayer, the 2001 UMass Water Polo alumni who organized the event: "the 4th Annual "Man-Up for Life" Charity Water Polo Tournament on Aug. 9, presented by S&R Sport was our best tournament yet. The event raised over $13,000 while hosting some of the top high school water polo talent on the east coast. Through four years, this great event has raised over $48,000 for The Leukemia & Lymphoma Society. Next year will mark the 5th anniversary for this event in Pennsylvania, and the future may hold a "west coast" version of the tournament out in Southern California."

Regional Alumni Events

With our community spread across the nation, we encourage you to organize an event in your area to support the campaign. Events can range from group outings at athletic events to wine-tastings.Contact Dave Koritkoski, the Events Chairman for guidance and assistance in organizing and promoting your regional event.
