On the Bus

What a great weekend of Swimming and Diving out in Ohio! Although we fell just short of winning our 7th consecutive title the boys did not go down without a fight. A very talented SBU squad had just a little too much front line firepower for us to keep up with. I couldn’t be prouder of the blue collar scrappy attitude we showed the whole way as the team never gave up.
We set 7 new varsity records and 6 freshman marks. The last night was punctuated by all four sprinters swimming the 100 in :45 plus and then teaming up for a 3:00 school record free relay. Hao Luong had another impressive night medaling on the 200 Back and Fly events. Another big distance swim was thrown down by Alessandro with a school record 9:18/15:26 mile!  Mike Glenn wowed the crowd with a smoking last 50 to just miss the gold in the 200 Breast!
We’re heading back to Amherst and are already preparing for next year!
