UMass Clings to One Point Lead After Day 2

The Bonnie’s put on a furious charge by winning 3 of the four events contested tonight to close in on the Minutemen (243-242). St. Bona venture won the 200 IM, 50 Free, and 200 Free Relay.   The other event of the night, the 500 Free was won by our own Alessandro Bomprezzi.  A major factor for the Umass squad was our depth as all but one swimmer who was entered in an event today scored points.  Chris Inglis powered from behind to win the consolation heat of the 200 IM to match Alessandro for tough swim of the night.  Equally cool was John Conway dropping from a :21.06 which required a swim off for 16th to a :20.74 in the Mano a Mano dual!

Were gonna bring our A game tomorrow and also will see our divers back on the boards.  Great meet so far….stay tuned.
